I refer to your letter of the 11th June, lio.DCB T/481/£.2015/27/47 rogarding the award of engineering apprenticeships to graduates from Hong Kong University.

I now enclose:=

(1) Memorandum C.D.w.n.C.No.891 in which the

terms of the scheme under the Development and Welfare met, 1940, are set out together with

(11) letters to Federation of British Industries

dated 9th. August, 1944, and 28th September, 1944,

(111) letters from the Zederation of british

Industries dated 3rd October 1944 and 21st. Kovember 1944,

(iv) telegram to His Majesty's Minister, Chungkinį

ko.79 of the 30th January, 1945 and

(v) Despatch to Governor, Hong Kong, No.267, of

the 23rd December,1946.
